Malmesbury Abbey
Malmesbury Abbey, at Malmesbury in Wiltshire, England, is a religious house dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Paul. It was one of the few English houses with a continual history from the 7th century through to the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Malmesbury was founded as a Benedictine monastery around 676 by the scholar-poet Aldhelm, a nephew of King Ine of Wessex. In 941 AD, King Athelstan was buried in the Abbey. Æthelstan had died in Gloucester in October 939.

Long Newnton
Long Newnton is a small village and civil parish in Gloucestershire, England, situated on the main road (B4014) between Malmesbury and Tetbury. In 2010 its population was estimated to be 199. The hamlet has no shops just a church and between 30 and 60 houses. Approximately an hour from Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and Oxford so the nearest big towns or small cities are Cheltenham and Swindon. It is now one of the only hamlets in Gloucestershire that farms Highland cows.
Malmesbury Market Cross
In the centre of Malmesbury, Wiltshire, stands the market cross, built c.1490, possibly using limestone salvaged from the recently-ruined part of Malmesbury Abbey, which then began just across the market square from the cross. An elaborately carved octagonal structure of the Perpendicular Period, it is recognised as one of the best preserved of its kind in England, and was made a Grade I listed building in 1949.

Whatley Manor is a hotel, restaurant and spa complex housed in a former farm and estate building, located in Easton Grey in the southern Cotswolds, near Malmesbury, Wiltshire, England. Situated now on a 12-acre garden, the long term farm site was known until its conversion to a hotel in 2003 at Twatley Manor, and at one time was home to the master of the Beaufort Hunt.
