Gurston Down Motorsport Hillclimb
The Gurston Down Motorsport Hillclimb is a hillclimb in Broad Chalke, Wiltshire, England, organised by the South Western Centre of the British Automobile Racing Club. The first practice meeting was held on 25 June 1967, when Patsy Burt, driving a McLaren-Oldsmobile set a time of 39.90 sec. The first competition event was held on 23 July 1967. The track hosts two rounds a year of the British Hill Climb Championship.

It is in the south of Wiltshire, about 1 mile from the county boundary with Dorset and 2 miles from that with Hampshire. It is in the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is part of the Southern England Chalk Formation.

River Chalke
The River Chalke is a small river within the English county of Wiltshire, the most significant tributary of the River Ebble. The river rises at Mead End, Bowerchalke and flows 1.2 miles through the Chalke Valley to join the Ebble at Mount Sorrel in Broad Chalke. It provides a steady, year round flow of water, so that the winterbourne section of the Ebble is only from Alvediston to Knapp. A typical chalk stream, the Chalke is noted for its brown trout and fish farms.
Fovant Badges
The Fovant Badges are a set of regimental badges cut into a chalk hill, Fovant Down, near Fovant, in southwest Wiltshire, England. They are located between Salisbury and Shaftesbury on the A30 road in the Nadder valley. They were created by soldiers garrisoned nearby, and waiting to go to France, during the First World War, the first in 1916, and are clearly visible from the A30 road which runs through the village.
