East Hampshire
East Hampshire is a local government district in Hampshire, England. Its council is based in Petersfield. Other towns are Alton, Horndean and Whitehill-Bordon. The district was originally to be known as the District Council of Petersfield. It comprised 42 seats and first met on 18 June 1973. For ten months it operated alongside the councils that it was formed to replace: the Alton and Petersfield urban districts along with Alton Rural District and Petersfield Rural District.

Petersfield Town F.C. are an English football club based in Petersfield, Hampshire, England. The club is affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association, and is a FA Charter Standard Community Club They are currently members of Wessex League Division One. They play at the Love Lane Stadium. The club was founded in 1993 after the demise of Petersfield United (founded 1889). United folded after being denied permission to switch from the Isthmian League to the Wessex League.

Ditcham Park School
Ditcham Park School is an English co-educational, independent school set in the countryside of Hampshire, overlooking the South Downs. Its grounds include sports fields, which adjoin several farms and forests; the main section of the school is a Victorian manor house. A Technology and Arts building was added in 2001, a new sports hall in 2008 and a new science block in 2012. The school performs competitively locally and nationally in examination results.
Dureford Abbey
Dureford Abbey, in Sussex, England, was a Premonstratensian monastery. It was founded by Henry Hussey who in 1161 granted land to the abbot of Welbeck Abbey, to establish the new community near Rogate, Sussex.
Rogate railway station
Rogate railway station, also known variously as Rogate for Harting, and Rogate and Harting, supposedly served these two villages in the county of West Sussex in England. However the station was a mile and a half away from both of these places, and was in fact in the village of Nyewood. The station was on the former London and South Western Railway line between Petersfield and Midhurst. The line opened on 1 September 1864.
