Chichester Canal
The Chichester Canal is a navigable canal in England. It runs 4.5 miles from the sea at Birdham Chichester Harbour to Chichester through two locks. The canal (originally part of the Portsmouth and Arundel Canal) was opened in 1822 having taken three years to build. When completed the canal could take ships of up to 100 tons. Dimensions were limited to 85 feet long 18 feet wide and a draft of up to 7 feet .

American RAF pilot Billy Fiske died at Tangmere and was the first American aviator to die during World War II. Famous World War II ace Douglas Bader was a Wing Commander at Tangmere in 1941.

St Andrew's Church, Tangmere
St Andrew's Church is a Church of England church, located in Tangmere, West Sussex. It lies within the Diocese of Chichester. The Saxon village lies a mile south of the Roman road of Stane Street, linking Londinium with Noviomagus Reginorum, now known as Chichester. The church however was built after the Norman conquest. Originally built of timber, the Saxon church was replaced in the 12th century by a stone and timber building with windows on the north and south sides.

Goodwood plant
The Goodwood plant serves as the headquarters, design, manufacturing and assembly centre for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Officially opened for business on 1 January 2003, the plant has been expanded twice since, and now covers 22,500 square metres . It presently employs 800 workers, half of whom are employed in the wood and leather shops. The plant reached a record production figure of 15 cars per day in June 2010.
Pagham Cricket Club Ground
Pagham Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Pagham, Sussex. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1976, when Sussex played the first first-class match at the ground against Oxford University. Sussex played the second and final first-class fixture to be held at the ground in 1979 when they played Oxford University. Sussex also used the ground in 1977, when they played Ireland in a non first-class match. In local domestic cricket, the venue is the home ground of Pagham Cricket Club.
