Long Marston Airfield
Long Marston Airfield was a Royal Air Force base between 1941 and 1954, situated approximately 3 miles south west of Stratford-upon-Avon near the village of Long Marston in Warwickshire.
Shakespeare County Raceway
Located near Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, England, Shakespeare County Raceway became a permanent drag racing facility in 1980 when it was known as 'Long Marston Raceway', although drag racing events had occurred on the Long Marston Airfield site sporadically since the early 1970s. The track later became known as 'Avon Park Raceway' before settling on its current name. It is generally considered to be Britain's 'second' dragstrip after Santa Pod Raceway.
Weston-on-Avon
Weston-on-Avon is a village which was recorded in the Domesday Book. Originally in Gloucestershire, it was transferred to Warwickshire in 1931. It is about 3 miles southwest of the town of Stratford-upon-Avon.

RAF Long Marston
RAF Long Marston was opened in 1941 and was in the county of Warwickshire, England and had two T2 hangars and one B1 hangar. The airfield had a mixture of 27 pan dispersals and spectacle dispersals which were used to disperse the aircraft around the airfield in case of enemy attack or accidents which could wreck multiple aircraft if bunched together this was connected to the regular 3-runway layout.

Marston Sicca Rural District
Marston Sicca was, from 1894 to 1931, a rural district in the administrative county of Gloucestershire, England. The district formed part of a salient of Gloucestershire nearly surrounded by Warwickshire and Worcestershire. In 1931 the boundaries of the three counties were adjusted. The rural district was abolished and its area transferred to Warwickshire.
