Gilson
Gilson is a hamlet in the North Warwickshire district of Warwickshire, England. It is known to some residents as 'Gil'. Gilson was once an agricultural hamlet mid way between Water Orton and Coleshill. It dates from the Anglo-Saxon period and is first documented in 1232 AD. It is now largely a residential area due to the nearby M42 motorway and the changes in British agriculture. The 18th century Gilson Hall still exists and is the home of the Townshend family, famous for their dairy herds.
Blythe End
Blythe End is a hamlet in the North Warwickshire district of Warwickshire, England. Blythe End is halfway between Coleshill and Shustoke on the B4114 road. There are a few houses, an old mill and a water works. The most famous building is Blyth Hall, built by Sir William Dugdale in the 17th century, but with 18th-century additions. It is still the family home. Sir William was born at Shustoke.

Coleshill railway station
Coleshill railway station was a station on the Birmingham to Peterborough Line in England. It was originally opened in 1842 as Forge Mills by the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway on its line from Whitacre Junction to Lawley Street and renamed in 1923. The station which had previously been called Coleshill was renamed "Maxstoke". A new station near to the site, called Coleshill Parkway, was opened in 2007.
Blyth Hall
Blyth Hall is a privately owned mansion house situated near Shustoke, Warwickshire. It is a Grade I listed building. The estate was purchased by William Dugdale a prominent antiquarian in 1625 who shortly thereafter built himself a new house on the site. In about 1690-1700 the house was substantially enlarged and improved with a twelve bay brick facade with two storeys and additional upper dormers. In the 18th century, Jane Dugdale sole heiress of Blyth married Richard Geast of Handsworth.
Maxstoke railway station
Maxstoke railway station opened in 1839 as Coleshill by the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway on its original route from Derby to Hampton-in-Arden meeting the London and Birmingham Railway for London. It was renamed Maxstoke in 1923 (while Forge Mills became Coleshill) When the BD&JR built its alternative route in Lawley Street in 1842, the line, known as the Stonebridge Railway, lost its importance and the passenger service finished in 1917. Freight services until 1939.
Grimstock Hill Romano-British settlement
Grimstock Hill, located north of the River Cole in Coleshill, Warwickshire, was the site of a Romano-British settlement discovered in 1978. The site included a temple complex with evidence of a circular wooden Iron Age temple, later replaced by a stone-built temples of the Roman period, developed in two phases. A settlement extending at least 400 metres was excavated to the south, with evidence including a bathhouse, ovens, ditches and walls.
