Gulliver's World
Gulliver's World is a theme park located to the west of Warrington in England. It is set in a forest and includes a man-made lake near Old Hall and Callands. The theme park has a large wooden roller coaster, The Antelope. Opened in 1989, the theme park has a number of small rides and is mainly a children's/family theme park.

The Warrington rail crash occurred on 29 June 1867 at Walton Junction, south of Warrington Bank Quay station. The 10:23 from Liverpool to London collided with a coal train, killing 8 people and injuring 33 more. The passenger train was running 10 minutes late and left Warrington Bank Quay station at 11:35.
Moore Nature Reserve
Moore Nature Reserve is a 200-acre nature reserve in Warrington, England, lying alongside the Manchester Ship Canal and bisected by the de-watered course of the Runcorn to Latchford Canal. It is owned and managed by the Waste Recycling Group Limited, and access is made freely available to the public. The reserve comprises five lakes, woodland and meadows, and has a number of bird hides and a feeding station. It is particularly known for the presence of Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers and Tawny Owls.
