Huddersfield Narrow Canal Pylon
The Huddersfield Narrow Canal Pylon, (National Grid tower designation 4ZO251B), is a transmission tower which stands with its feet over the Huddersfield Narrow Canal near Heyrod, Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. The Stalybridge substation was built while the canal was closed to navigation, encroaching on the former canal line, and the canal was culverted at this point from the head of Lock 8W to a point immediately downstream of the substation.

Heyheads
Heyheads is the easternmost area of Stalybridge, in Greater Manchester, England. The area includes the sixteenth century Grade II listed Nos 1, 2 and 3 Moorgate Farmhouse and adjoining barn and shippon buildings. Boundary cottages mark the boundary between Stalybridge and Mossley and the former boundary between Cheshire and Lancashire. Modern Housing was built on Huddersfield Road in the 1970. With a further estate built close to Moorgate in the 1990s.
Micklehurst railway station
Micklehurst Railway Station served the town of Mossley in Tameside until closure in 1907. It was built by the London and North Western Railway on its Micklehurst Line. The station building on the up (Diggle to Stalybridge) side are still standing and are used as a private residence. Staley and Millbrook railway station served the villages Staley and Millbrook in Stalybridge, Cheshire. The station was built by the London and North Western Railway on the Micklehurst Line and opened on 3 May 1886. It served passengers to and from the locality until closure on 1 November 1909. Mossley Industrial Heritage Centre
The Mossley Industrial Heritage Centre records the history and industrial heritage of the cotton industry in Mossley, in Greater Manchester, England. Housed in a part of the former Longlands cotton waste mill, the centre was created as a collaboration between the Emmaus Mossley site and the Mossley Civic Society, after Emmaus purchased the site in 1996. The building, still called Longlands Mill, also houses the Emmaus charity second-hand store.
Mossley Hollins High School
Mossley Hollins High School is a secondary school located in Mossley, in the borough of Tameside, Greater Manchester. The school's original building was opened in the 1960s. The school suffered a bad reputation and poor results for a long period, although they gradually caught up with other local high schools. Mossley ranked eighth in Tameside in the most recent league table of school GCSE performance. The school received a rating of 'outstanding' in its most recent Ofsted report.
