Ranmore Common
Ranmore Common is a village and an area of wooded common land on the North Downs, to the northwest of Dorking in the English county of Surrey. It is located within the civil parish of Wotton and is also within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Effingham Hundred
Effingham was a hundred in what is now Surrey, England. It includes the village of Effingham. At an early period it was connected with Copthorne Hundred, and so was sometimes styled as the Half-hundred of Effingham. In the Domesday Book of 1086, Effingham Hundred included the three parishes of Effingham, Great Bookham and Little Bookham. It also include two unknown settlements of Driteham and Pechingeorde.

Milton Court
Milton Court, near Dorking, is a 16th century country house in Surrey, which was substantially rebuilt by the Victorian architect William Burges. The court is a Grade II* Listed Building, the listing also covering the attached forecourt walls, balustrading, terrace, piers, urns and ball finial. Originally a priory, the estate was granted to George Evelyn, father of the diarist John Evelyn, at the Protestant Reformation.
Wotton House, Surrey
Wotton House is an hotel, training centre and former country house in Wotton near Dorking, Surrey, England. Originally the centre of the Wotton Estate and the seat of the Evelyn family, it was the birthplace in 1620 of diarist and garden landscaper John Evelyn, who built the first Italian Garden in England there.
