Godalming railway station

Godalming railway station is a stop on the Portsmouth Direct Line. The station, which opened in 1859 to replace one on a different site of the town, is situated at the edge of the town of Godalming, England. The original single platform station opened in 1849 was located on a spur from just south of Farncombe station but the north of the River Wey. It was closed to passengers in 1897 but was retained as a goods yard until 1969.

Watts Gallery

Watts Gallery is an art gallery in the village of Compton, near Guildford in Surrey. It is dedicated to the work of Victorian era painter and sculptor George Frederic Watts. Watts moved to "Limnerslease" in Compton in 1891, and with his artist wife Mary Fraser-Tytler, planned a museum devoted to his work, which opened in April 1904, just before his death.
