Borough of Waverley
The Borough of Waverley is a local government district with borough status in Surrey, England. Farncombe railway station
Farncombe railway station opened in 1897 as a minor stop on the Portsmouth Direct Line between Guildford and Godalming, England. It is said to have been built at the instigation of General Sir Frederick Marshall, a director of the London and South Western Railway Company, who lived nearby at Broadwater. The station lies in the centre of Farncombe, a northern suburb of Godalming. Nowadays it is served by South West Trains on the mainline from Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour.
Godalming railway station
Godalming railway station is a stop on the Portsmouth Direct Line. The station, which opened in 1859 to replace one on a different site of the town, is situated at the edge of the town of Godalming, England. The original single platform station opened in 1849 was located on a spur from just south of Farncombe station but the north of the River Wey. It was closed to passengers in 1897 but was retained as a goods yard until 1969.

Godalming United Church is a non-conformist church formed in 1977 of a union of the local Methodist and URC churches. It is located between the fire station and the River Wey in Godalming.

The Burys at Godalming, Surrey was used as a major cricket venue for nine first-class matches between 1821 and 1830. It was used by the Godalming Cricket Club for all of its home first-class matches and also by Surrey.
Broadwater Park
Broadwater Park is a cricket ground in Godalming, Surrey. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1827, when the ground hosted a match between East and West Sussex. The ground held a single first-class match in 1854 when Surrey played Nottinghamshire. In constant use throughout both the 19th and 20th centuries, the ground today is the home venue of Farncombe Cricket Club.
