Beccles Town F.C
Beccles Town Football Club is an English football club based in Beccles, Suffolk. They are nicknamed 'The Wherrymen', because Beccles was once a busy trading town on the River Waveney. The club are currently members of the Anglian Combination Premier Division and play at College Meadow. The club is affiliated to the Suffolk County FA.
Beccles bell tower
The Beccles bell tower is a free-standing Grade I listed edifice associated with the adjacent St. Michael's church in the market town of Beccles, Suffolk, England. It stands near the edge of a cliff overlooking the River Waveney, the bell tower rises an additional 97 feet and is thirty feet square (9m) at its base. It dominates the town as well as the surrounding countryside, much of which is comprised by The Broads National Park.
Roos Hall
Roos Hall (or sometimes Rose Hall) is a manor house and former manor ½ a mile (¾km) west of Beccles in Suffolk. It is a Grade I listed building. It is said to be among the most haunted houses in England. It was owned by the Suckling family in the 17th century having been bought by Sir John Suckling in 1600. It subsequently passed to the Rich family following the marriage between Sir John Suckling's widow and Sir Edwin Rich.
Ellough Park Raceway
Ellough Park Raceway is a kart racing track in Ellough in the English county of Suffolk. It is located around 2 miles south-east of the market town of Beccles. It is primarily used for kart racing as it is a fast, but tight and twisty circuit. The authorities at the circuit extended the circuit in 2007, from 800m to just over 1000m to make it more suitable for other forms of kart and minimoto racing.
All Saints Church, Ellough
All Saints Church, Ellough, is a redundant Anglican church in the parish of Ellough in the English county of Suffolk. The church is medieval in origin and has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church stands in an isolated position on the top of a low hill, some 2.5 miles to the south-east of Beccles.
