Melford Rural District
Melford Rural District was a rural district in the county of West Suffolk, England. It was created in 1894, under the Local Government Act 1894 from that part of the Sudbury rural sanitary district in West Suffolk (the rest becoming Belchamp Rural District in Essex). On 1 April 1935 it lost the parishes of Cavendish and Hawkedon to the Clare Rural District. At the same time the Glemsford Urban District was abolished and added to the district.

Little Cornard derailment
The Little Cornard derailment occurred on 17 August 2010 when a Class 156 diesel multiple unit collided with a road vehicle on a level crossing at Little Cornard, Suffolk and then derailed. The train driver and 22 passengers were injured, five of them seriously. The vehicle driver was subsequently jailed and disqualified from driving for causing the accident.
St Mary's Church, Chilton
St Mary's Church, Chilton, is a redundant Anglican church in the civil parish of Chilton, Suffolk, England. It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. Although it lies just to the northeast of the Sudbury eastern bypass, it stands in an isolated position. Around it is the site of a deserted medieval village.
St Peter's Church, Sudbury
St Peter's Church, Sudbury, is a redundant Anglican church in the town of Sudbury, Suffolk, England. It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church stands in the centre of the town in a dominating position on Market Hill. A church has been on the site since at least 1180, but the current structure dates from the 15th century, though there have been several restorations in the intervening period.
