Blyth Navigation
The Blyth Navigation was a canal in Suffolk, England, running 7 miles from Halesworth to the North Sea at Southwold. It opened in 1761, and was insolvent by 1884. Its demise was accelerated by an attempt to reclaim saltings at Blythburgh, which resulted in the estuary silting up. It was used sporadically until 1911, and was not formally abandoned until 1934.
Darsham railway station
Darsham is a railway station which serves the villages of Darsham and Yoxford in Suffolk, England, lying midway between the two communities, each of which is about one mile from the station. It is located on the East Suffolk Line between Lowestoft and Ipswich. All trains are operated by Greater Anglia, which also manages the station. It is a centre for arts in the community, offers arts, music, theatre, dance, comedy, cinema, workshops and art exhibitions to the local area and houses Halesworth's New Cut Arts. It has a cafeteria and licensed bar and is a registered charity, relying on the support of the local community and its 500 club benefactors.
