Vale Park
Vale Park is a football stadium in Stoke-on-Trent, England. It is the home ground of Port Vale F.C. , who have played at the ground since 1950. The ground has seen its capacity go up and down, its peak being 42,000 in 1954 against Blackpool, although a club record 49,768 managed to squeeze in for a 1960 FA Cup fifth round fixture against Aston Villa.

Smallthorne Urban District
Smallthorne Urban District was an Urban district in Staffordshire. It was initially formed of the Smallthorne civil parish. In 1904 the Chell and Milton civil parishes were added. It was abolished in 1922 with the bulk of it becoming part of the county borough of Stoke-on-Trent. After absorption, the area of the UDC was divided into two wards for election of local councillors. Ward 27 covered Smallthorne, Bradeley, Norton-in-the-Moors, Ball Green, Fegg Hayes, and Brindley Ford.

The Potteries Shopping Centre is an indoor shopping centre in Hanley, Stoke on Trent, in the Staffordshire Potteries. It is the major indoor shopping centre in the city. The town of Hanley is generally regarded as the commercial city centre of Stoke-on-Trent. Current plans are to give the Centre a multi-million pound expansion.
The Old Recreation Ground
The Old Recreation Ground was a football stadium, located in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent and home to Port Vale for almost 40 years. The Rec had been Vale's home between 1913 and 1950 and was the sixth ground the club used.
Cobridge railway station
Cobridge railway station was located on the Potteries Loop Line and served the Cobridge area of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. The station was located between Elder Road and Sandbach Road. The station closed in 1964 when the passenger service on the Loop was withdrawn. The trackbed is now a footpath and the tunnel, which was to the south of the station, has been filled in.
Waterloo Road (NSR) railway station
Waterloo Road Railway Station was built by the North Staffordshire Railway as part of on the Potteries Loop Line and served the north of the town of Hanley, Staffordshire. The station opened in 1873 and closed to passengers in 1943. General goods traffic remained until 1966 with oil traffic continuing until 1969 No trace of the station remains today, the station was at the road crossing on Waterloo Road between Hanley and Cobridge.
