Loxley Hall

Loxley Hall is an early-19th-century country house near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, now occupied by a Staffordshire County Council special school for boys with learning difficulties. It is a Grade II* listed building. An early manor house on the site was owned by the Ferrers family and from the 14th century following the marriage of the Ferrers heiress, by a branch of the Kynnersley family (Sneyd-Kynnersley from 1815).

Grindley railway station

Grindley railway station was a former British railway station to serve the village of Grindley in Staffordshire. It was opened by the Stafford and Uttoxeter Railway in 1867 and closed in 1939. The Stafford and Uttoxeter Railway was purchased for £100,000 by the Great Northern Railway in July 1881 and the line subsequently passed into LNER ownership with Railway Grouping in 1923. Originally single line, a passing loop was added in 1887.

Uttoxeter Rural is a civil parish in the borough of East Staffordshire, Staffordshire, England, comprising the villages of Stramshall and Bramshall. It is separate from the town of Uttoxeter, and surrounds it to the north, west and south. The population was 1,567 at the 2001 census. Until 1974, there was a Uttoxeter Rural District that covered a larger area.

Oldfields Ground

Oldfields Ground is a cricket ground in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1905, when Staffordshire played Bedfordshire in the grounds first Minor Counties Championship match. The county played a further Minor Counties match on the ground in 1906, but after that it would not be until 1950 that Staffordshire used the ground again, using it as a home venue from 1950 to 1970.
