Biddulph Grange is a National Trust landscaped gardens, in Biddulph near Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.
Cheshire Gritstone Trail
The Cheshire Gritstone Trail is a long-distance footpath in England split into three stages. The first stage, 10.3 miles in length, leads from Disley to Tegg's Nose; the second, of length 15.3 miles, from Tegg's Nose to Timbersbrook, is the best for obtaining a close look at gritstone scenery. The final stage of 9.3 miles runs from Timbersbrook to Kidsgrove.
The Bridestones
The Bridestones consist of a chambered cairn, built in the Neolithic Stone Age, near Congleton, Cheshire, England. It was described in 1764 as being 100 metres long and 11 metres wide; it contained three separate compartments, of which only one remains today. The remaining compartment is 6 metres long by 2.7 metres wide, and consists of vertical stone slabs, divided by a now-broken cross slab.
Biddulph Moor
Biddulph Moor is a large village located on the hill which bears the same name. It is in Biddulph parish and is a part of the Staffordshire Moorlands district in England. It is very similar to Mow Cop which is located on the other side of the valley of Biddulph. It is semi-rural and is the source of the River Trent.
Knypersley Hall
Knypersley Hall is an 18th century Georgian style country mansion at Biddulph, Staffordshire, England which has been subdivded into residential apartments. It is a Grade II* listed building. The Manor of Knypersley was held by the de Knypersley family from ancient times, until Katherine de Knypersley, heiress to the estates married Thomas Bowyer late in the 14th century. Several branches of the Bowyer family became Bowyer baronets.
Biddulph railway station
Biddulph railway station was a railway station opened by the North Staffordshire Railway in 1864. The station was on the Biddulph Valley line that ran from a junction just north of Congleton on the Stoke-on-Trent – Macclesfield line to a junction south of Stoke-on-Trent station. There was also a canal rail interchange at Congleton Junction. The remains of the small dock on the Macclesfield Canal can still be seen.
Victora and Knypersley Social Welfare Centre
Victoria and Knypersley Social Welfare Centre is a cricket ground in Knypersley, Staffordshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1946, when Staffordshire played the Yorkshire Second XI in the grounds first Minor Counties Championship match. The county used the ground during a number of periods in the up to 1987, resuming use of the ground as a home venue once more in 2007. To date the ground has hosted 25 Minor Counties Championship matches and a single MCCA Knockout Trophy match.
Knypersley Reservoir
Knypersley Reservoir is a canal feeder reservoir near Biddulph in Staffordshire. The canal was built in 1827 to supply water to the Caldon Canal.
