Winterbourne United F.C
Winterbourne United F.C. are a football club based in Winterbourne, near Bristol, England. They were established in 1911 and joined the Gloucestershire County League in 1992. They were promoted to the Hellenic Football League Division One West in 2001 and stayed in the league until the 2012–13 season, when they were promoted to the Western Football League Premier Division. The club is affiliated to the Gloucestershire County FA.
Huckford Viaduct
The Huckford Viaduct spans the River Frome just north of Winterbourne Down in South Gloucestershire, England. It was built in 1902 as part of the Wootton Bassett to Patchway railway line. It now forms part of the line from Bristol to Paddington station. The viaduct rises to 100 feet above the river, and is made up of 11 massive brick arches. Acton Court
Acton Court is a recently restored Tudor house on Latteridge Lane, Iron Acton, South Gloucestershire, England. The Poyntz family owned the property from 1364 until 1680. Nicholas Poyntz (died 1557) added the East Wing onto the existing moated manor house shortly before 1535. Construction took about 9 months to complete. Subsequently, the wing was lavishly and fashionably decorated to impress Henry VIII.

Ram Hill Colliery
Ram Hill Colliery, Ram Hill, Coalpit Heath, Bristol was sunk sometime between 1820 and 1830. It was owned by the Coalpit Heath Company, which included Sir John Smyth as a shareholder. Sir John was one of the main proponents of the Bristol & Gloucestershire Railway, (known locally as the Dramway), and that railway linked the pit (and others owned by the Coalpit Heath Co. ) to Cuckolds Pill in Bristol.
Mayshill
Mayshill or Mays Hill is a hamlet located in the Parish of Westerleigh, South Gloucestershire, England. It is located just off the A432 (Badminton Road) between Coalpit Heath and Nibley. A small road runs from the hamlet to Frampton End Road, connecting Frampton Cotterell and Iron Acton. Yate and Westerleigh are also nearby. Despite its size the hamlet contains a pub, dating from the 16th Century.
