Whitchurch Rural District (Shropshire)
Whitchurch was a rural district in Shropshire, England from 1894 to 1934. It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 based on part of the Whitchurch rural sanitary district. It included the parishes of Ightfield and Whitchurch Rural. The district was abolished in 1934 under a County Review Order. Ightfield went to Drayon Rural District, with Whitchurch Rural being split between the Whitchurch urban district, Wem Rural District and Drayton RD.
Whitchurch Rural
Whitchurch Rural is a civil parish in Shropshire, England. It covers the area (that is in Shropshire) to the south and southeast of the town of Whitchurch, including the villages of Prees Heath, Tilstock and Broughall. It was created in 1894 under the Local Government Act 1894 from that part of the parish of Whitchurch which was part of the Whitchurch urban district. It formed part of the Whitchurch Rural District from 1894 to 1934, when it became part of the Wem Rural District.
Mediolanum (Whitchurch)
Mediolanum was a fort and small town in the Roman province of Britannia. Today it is known as Whitchurch, located in the English county of Shropshire. The town was located on a major Roman routeway between Deva Victrix and Viroconium Cornoviorum. The Romans first built a fort which has been tentatively suggested as forming part of the border defences established by Ostorius Scapula around AD 52.

St Alkmund's Church, Whitchurch, stands in an elevated position in the centre of the town of Whitchurch, Shropshire, England. The church is designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Lichfield, the archdeaconry of Salop and the deanery of Wem and Whitchurch.

Grindley Brook railway halt was a railway halt in the village of Grindley Brook, Shropshire on the Whitchurch and Tattenhall Railway or Chester-Whitchurch Branch Line. Nearby the line crossed the Shropshire Union Canal and the A41. It was open between 1937 and 1957.
Heath Road
Heath Road is a cricket ground in Whitchurch, Shropshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1982, when Whitchurch played Singapore in a warm-up match for the 1982 ICC Trophy. Shropshire played their first match at the ground in the 1999 MCCA Knockout Trophy against Cumberland. The following season they played their first Minor Counties Championship match at the ground against Herefordshire. From 2000 to present, the ground has hosted 10 Minor Counties Championship matches.
Tushingham Hall
Tushingham Hall is a country house in Tushingham, Cheshire, England. Formerly a moated farmhouse, it was remodelled in the early 19th century for Daniel Vawdrey, retaining many 17th-century features. It is constructed in rendered brick with slate roofs. Its architectural style is Tudor Revival. The house is in two storeys with a symmetrical entrance front. The centre of the front is recessed and contains a canted open porch with three Tudor arches.
