Minsterley
Minsterley is a village and civil parish in Shropshire, England. It is home to a large dairy which came under Müller ownership in January 2013 (previously it was owned by Uniq Foods) and a meat canning factory operated by Rea Valley Foods. Village amenities includes, a primary school, a public house ('The Crown and Sceptre'- one of the oldest buildings in the village), a petrol station/supermarket (operated by Co-operative), post office, florist, and fish and chip shop.

During the Roman settlement of Britain it was an outpost of Wroxeter. In 2005, Westbury parish expanded with the annexation of half of the former Wollaston parish.
Wollaston, Shropshire
Wollaston is a small village in Shropshire, England, only a quarter of a mile from the Welsh border. It also was a civil parish, until 2005 when it was abolished and absorbed into the two neighbouring parishes: Alberbury with Cardeston and Westbury. It is believed that Old Tom Parr was born in, or near, to the village. There is a beacon here, by the church, that is to be lit in case of an invasion from Wales.

Aston Pigott
Aston Pigott is a hamlet approximately 12 miles west of Shrewsbury within the parish of Worthen and Shelve. The current population stands at around 50. The hamlet is situated on a small rise giving many of the properties an outstanding view across the Rea Brook valley to the Stiperstones. It contains three working farms that are mainly dairy and lamb farms. The hamlet is served primarily by Worthen which is 1 mile to the west. It adjoins Aston Rogers.
Rowton Castle
Rowton Castle, near Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England, is a Grade II* listed country house that was once the home of the Royal Normal College for the Blind before it moved to its present location in Hereford. The house is situated in 17 acres of grounds about 6 miles west of Shrewsbury. It is currently used as a hotel. The present castle was built in the 17th Century, although a previous castle named Rowton Castle had stood on the site for several hundred years previously.

Wattlesborough Castle
Wattlesborough Castle is a ruined fortified 13th century manor house in Shropshire. Based in the parish of Alberbury with Cardeston, near the village of Halfway House on the Shrewsbury to Welshpool road, the castle was probably built in the late 13th century for Sir Richard Corbet. It comprised a square two storey tower surrounded by a moated enclosure with a fishpond. It was bought by the Leighton family circa 1501 and used as their chief residence until circa 1711.
