Welshampton and Lyneal
Welshampton and Lyneal is a civil parish in Shropshire, England. It is the result of a merger of an older parish, Welshampton, with part of Ellesmere Rural parish.
The Maelor School
The Maelor School, Penley is a British mixed comprehensive school situated in the village of Penley, north-east Wales. As of February, 2008, the school had a total of 794 pupils aged 11–18 of whom 138 students are in the sixth form.
Welshampton rail crash
The Welshampton rail crash was a fatal railway accident in the Welsh borders village of Welshampton on 11 June 1897. It resulted in the deaths of 12 people. An excursion to Barmouth had been organised by the United Sunday Schools of Royton. A group of 320 passengers were on board a train of mixed Cambrian Railways (CR) and Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway (L&YR) stock of 15 carriages, pulled by two locomotives.
Hammer, West Sussex
Hammer is a hamlet in the Chichester district in the county of West Sussex. Nearby settlements include the town of Haslemere, the villages of Liphook, Bramshott, Linchmere (sometimes also spelt Lynchmere), Shottermill, Camelsdale, Critchmere, Woolmer Hill and the hamlet of Hammer Bottom. For transport there is the B2131 road which the hamlet is on and the A3 road, the A287 road, the A286 road nearby. The nearest railway station is Haslemere railway station.
