Hodnet is a village and civil parish in Shropshire, England. To the northeast of the village is the nearby town of Market Drayton.
Ternhill
Ternhill is a village in Shropshire, England, notable for its Royal Air Force training airfield which was the site of a bombing by the Provisional IRA on 20 February 1989 in which one person was injured. Today the station is named after Clive of India and the River Tern which begins just south of the settlement. The A41 and A53 cross over at the village and there is now a roundabout. It has direct links with major towns and cities such as Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Stoke-on-Trent and Chester.
Peplow
Peplow is a small dispersed village in Shropshire, England. It is part of the civil parish of Hodnet, a larger village to the north. The hamlets of Bowling Green and Radmoor are both in the village's vicinity. It lies in a rural area on the A442 road, between Crudgington and Hodnet, with Ollerton immediately to the east. The village is best known for Peplow Hall, an 18th century manor house, and Peplow Mill. The mill contains an early water turbine dating from 1820 and spans the River Tern.

Peplow Hall
Peplow Hall is a privately owned 18th century country house at Peplow, near Hodnet, Shropshire. It is the seat of Lord Newborough and is a Grade II* listed building. The manor of Peplow was owned in the 17th century by Hugh Pigot (1631–1697). A later Hugh Pigot replaced the old manor house with a new hall in about 1725, which date is carried on the sundials adorning the central block of the present house.
St Luke's Church, Hodnet
St Luke's Church, Hodnet, is located in the village of Hodnet, Shropshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Hodnet, the archdeaconry of Salop, and the diocese of Lichfield. Its benefice is united with those of The Epiphany, Peplow, and St Luke, Weston under Redcastle. The church is designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building. It overlooks the park of Hodnet Hall.
