A4117 road
The A4117 is a major road in England. It branches from the A456 2.2 miles west of Bewdley, and runs westward to Ludlow via Cleobury Mortimer and Cleehill. The pass over Titterstone Clee Hill reaches an altitude of 381 metres, making the A4117 Shropshire's highest A-road (the highest classified road is the B4368 at Anchor). Because of its situation and altitude, the A4117 is often affected by snow in winter.
Farlow, Shropshire
Farlow is a small village and civil parish in Shropshire, England. The chapelry of Farlow was an exclave of Herefordshire, part of the hundred of Wolphy. Hopton Wafers
Hopton Wafers is a small village and civil parish in Shropshire, England, near to Cleobury Mortimer and Kidderminster. Its unusual-sounding name is derived from Old English hop (a side valley running off a larger valley, originally from a Celtic word) and tun (farm or settlement), along with the name of Robert de Wafre, an early holder of the manor. The village church, St Michael and All Angels, was built in 1825: a Norman church had previously stood on the site, but had become dilapidated.
