The Porter Brook is a river in the City of Sheffield, England descending over 1,000 feet from its source among the sedge grass on Burbage moor behind a small farm on Hangram just inside the Peak District National Park in the west of the city at Clough Hollow, near the village of Ringinglow.
Fulwood (ward), South Yorkshire
Fulwood ward—which includes the districts of Fulwood, Lodge Moor, and Ranmoor—is one of the 28 electoral wards in City of Sheffield, England. It is located in the far western part of the city and covers an area of 23.2 km. The population of this ward in 2001 was 15,400 people in 5,900 households. Fulwood ward is one of the five wards that make up the Sheffield Hallam Parliamentary constituency.
Limb Brook
The Limb Brook is a stream in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It rises at the village of Ringinglow, flowing east through Whirlow and Ecclesall Woods into Abbeydale in the Beauchief area, where it merges with the River Sheaf. Near this point part of the stream has been diverted to provide the goit for the Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet millpond, and this channel flows through what is now Beauchief Gardens.
Whiteley Wood Hall
Whiteley Wood Hall was a stately home, built in 1662 by Alexander Ashton near Sheffield. In 1757 the Hall was bought by Thomas Boulsover from his friend Strelley Pegge of Beauchief http://www. tilthammer. com/bio/boul. html. In 1760 Boulsover bought the adjacent woodland on the River Porter from the Duke of Norfolk. Thomas Boulsover died at the Hall in 1788. In 1864 the estate was bought by Samuel Plimsoll. Whiteley Wood Hall was demolished in 1959.

Fulwood Old Chapel
Fulwood Old Chapel is a Unitarian place of worship in the Fulwood district of western Sheffield, South Yorkshire. It is a member of the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches, the umbrella organisation for British Unitarians. The chapel was built from 1728 to 1729 as a meeting house for English Dissenters, who had previously met under John Fox at Fullwood Hall.
Whirlow Hall Farm
Whirlow Hall Farm is a working farm situated on Broad Elms Lane at Whirlow in the City of Sheffield, England. Since 1979 it has been the site of the Whirlow Hall Farm Trust, a registered charity which allows children and young people to visit a working farm. The site includes various Grade II listed buildings including Whirlow Farmhouse built on the site of the old Whirlow Hall.

Fulwood Hall, is an English country house situated on Harrison Lane in the suburb of Fulwood in Sheffield, England. It is a Grade II listed building. The hall stands in a lofty position on the north side of the Mayfield Valley at a height of 270 metres (885 feet). The hall is referred to as Fullwood Hall on old maps and the gate to the hall uses this spelling with two Ls.
