Another Place is a piece of modern sculpture by Antony Gormley. Now permanently erected on Crosby Beach, England, it was due to be moved to New York in November 2006, but there was a controversial proposal to retain the work at Crosby. It was stated in the local paper, the Crosby Herald, that they may stay for a decade, but at a meeting on 7 March 2007, Sefton Council accepted proposals that would allow the sculptures to be kept permanently at Crosby Beach.

Old Christ Church, Waterloo
Old Christ Church, Waterloo, is a redundant Anglican church located in Waterloo Road, Waterloo, Merseyside, England. It was declared redundant in 1982, and its functions have been replaced by a new Christ Church at the junction of Crosby Road South and Alexandra Road, Waterloo.
Ellen Southard
Ellen Southard was an American full-rigged merchant ship loaded with softwood that was wrecked during a hurricane-strength storm in the mouth of the Mersey River at Liverpool on 27 September 1875. Nine people from the ship as well as three shore-based rescuers lost their lives. The United States Congress issued 27 Gold Lifesaving Medals two years later to the lifeboat men who attempted to save her crew, after the law was changed to allow the medals to be awarded to non-US citizens.
