Gildingwells
Gildingwells is a village and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham in South Yorkshire, England, on the border with Nottinghamshire. It lies between Dinnington and Carlton in Lindrick at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:53|22|N|1|10|W||| | |name= }}, and at an elevation of around 60 metres above sea level. It has a population of 115. Situated on a rural crossroads, Gildingwells is little more than a collection of farms.

Letwell is a rural village and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham in South Yorkshire, England, on the border with Nottinghamshire. It lies between Dinnington and Langold, off the B6463 road. It is located at 53° 22' 40" North, 1° 9' West, at an elevation of around 75 metres above sea level. It has a population of 111. The first reference to Letwell was in the 12th century when it was part of the lands of Tickhill Castle.

Shireoaks Colliery was a coal mine situated on the edge of the village of Shireoaks, near Worksop in North Nottinghamshire, close by the Yorkshire border. The Duke of Newcastle owned mineral rights in much of North Nottinghamshire and the original shaft was sunk in 1861.

Anston Stones Wood is a 33.7 hectare (88.3 acre) biological site of Special Scientific Interest in South Yorkshire. The site was notified in 1955. The site contains the second best example of limestone woodland in South Yorkshire.
Lindrick Golf Club
Lindrick Golf Club is a golf course in South Yorkshire and is also a site of special scientific interest (SSSI). The SSSI covers 22.0 hectares (54.4 acres) and was designated for its biological interest. The site was notified in 1987. The course is situated on the main A57 trunk road running between Liverpool and Lincoln, and is situated approximately 3 miles west of Worksop.

Steetley Company Ground is a cricket ground in Shireoaks, Nottinghamshire, England. The ground was laid out in 1951 and the first important match on the ground was in 1955, when the Nottinghamshire Second XI played the Yorkshire Second XI. The ground has played host to both Nottinghamshire Second XI and Derbyshire Second XI matches in the Second XI Championship and Second XI Trophy. In 1961, the ground hosted a first-class match in the County Championship when Nottinghamshire played Sussex.

Shireoaks Hall
Shireoaks Hall is a grade II* listed 17th century country house in the hamlet of Shireoaks, 5 km north-west of Worksop, Nottinghamshire, UK. The modestly sized house was originally built for Thomas Hewett, probably by John Smythson, between 1612 and 1617. It was remodelled around 1700 and further restored in 1812 and again after 1975.
