A bike ride of almost 30 miles from Redcar to Marske, Saltburn, Brotton, Kilton Thorpe, Lingdale, Stanghow, Birk Brow, Guisborough, Ormesby Bank and then returning via Eston.

Redcar and Cleveland
The borough of Redcar & Cleveland is a unitary authority in the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England consisting of Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Guisborough, and small towns such as Brotton, Eston, Skelton and Loftus. It had a resident population of 135,200 in 2011, and is part of the Tees Valley economic area.

Redcar Jazz Club
Redcar Jazz Club was a music venue in the seaside town of Redcar, North Yorkshire, England which was a regular stop for up and coming rock musicians during the 1960s and early 1970s. Almost all the famous, or soon to be famous names, played there for the local audience. Bands such as Cream, Yes, Curved Air and Pink Floyd all occupied the stage in the ballroom of the Coatham Hotel a Victorian edifice in the grand style.
Langbaurgh Wapentake
Langbaurgh was a wapentake, or liberty, of the North Riding of Yorkshire. It covered an area on the northern coast of the county, including Middlesbrough, Easby, Great Ayton, Guisborough, Marske-by-the-Sea, Maltby, Easington, Redcar, and Whitby - the Cleveland area. The wapentake had two divisions, the western and eastern. The name was re-used for the non-metropolitan district of Langbaurgh, later Langbaurgh-on-Tees, created in 1974, which covered the area of the eastern division.

Dunsdale is a village in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland within the civil parish of Guisborough.
Zetland (lifeboat)
The Zetland is the oldest surviving lifeboat in the world. It is currently in a free museum in Redcar. The name Zetland comes from the local Lord of Manor, the Marquess of Zetland. The Zetland is on the National Register of Historic Ships. The lifeboat was stationed at Redcar in 1802, built by Henry Greathead of South Shields. Not all rescue attempts were successful.
Redcar Racecourse
Redcar Racecourse is a thoroughbred horse racing venue located in Redcar, North Yorkshire, England. Its address is Redcar Racecourse Ltd, Thrush Road, Redcar TS10 2BY Redcar is Yorkshire's seaside track, oval-shaped and perfectly flat. The present racecourse was opened in 1870, or 1875 and prior to this Redcar races were held on the sands at Coatham. The course itself is a left handed oval of just over 1m 4f with relatively tight banked bends.
Wilton Castle (Yorkshire)
Wilton Castle is an early 19th-century mansion house, built on the site of a medieval castle, now converted into residential apartments, situated at Wilton, in Redcar and Cleveland, England. It is a Grade II listed building. The Bulmer family owned the manor of Wilton in the 13th century and were granted a licence to fortify their manor house in 1210. In 1331 Ralph Bulmer was granted permission to build a castle on his manor.
