Caversham Lock
Caversham Lock is a lock and weir situated on the River Thames in England at Reading, Berkshire. The lock is connected to De Bohun Island, a somewhat larger than normal lock island. The original lock was built by the Thames Navigation Commissioners in 1778. The weir is almost parallel to the lock and carries a footbridge across the river.
Fry's Island
Fry's Island, also known as De Montfort Island, is an island in the River Thames in England. The island is on the reach above Caversham Lock at Reading, Berkshire. The centre of Reading is to the south and the suburb of Caversham to the immediate north. Fry's Island is a natural island, the only access to it being by boat. It is home to a private house (Demontfort House), a boatyard with a residence (Caversham Boat Services) and a private bowling club (the Island Bohemian Club).

Reading Bridge
Reading Bridge is a road bridge over the River Thames at Reading in the English county of Berkshire. The bridge links the centre of Reading on the south bank with the Lower Caversham area of the cross-river suburb, and former village, of Caversham on the north bank. It crosses the river a short way above Caversham Lock. The current bridge is the first on the site, and was built in 1923 as part of the political accommodation when Reading absorbed Caversham.
Caversham Bridge
Caversham Bridge is a bridge across the River Thames between Caversham and the town centre of Reading. The bridge is situated on the reach above Caversham Lock, carrying the A4155 road across the river and also providing pedestrian access to the adjacent mid-river Pipers Island.
Pipers Island
Pipers Island, or Piper's Island, is a small island in the English River Thames, on the reach above Caversham Lock. It is located close to the centre of the town of Reading and immediately adjacent to Caversham Bridge, a road bridge that links that town to its suburb of Caversham. Pipers Island is entirely occupied by a public house and restaurant called The Island, and by moorings for an associated boat hire and cruise business.
A4074 road
The A4074 is a British A road from Caversham, Reading, to Heyford Hill on the Oxford Ring Road . It takes a direct line across the Chiltern Hills to Benson, bypassing Crowmarsh Gifford. It then passes through Shillingford, bypasses Dorchester and passes through Nuneham Courtenay. The road was designated in the 1980s, when the B479 between Caversham and Crowmarsh Gifford was renumbered.

View Island is a small island near Caversham Lock, on the River Thames at Reading, Berkshire in England. The island was a derelict boatyard when Reading Borough Council took it over in 1998 and restored it. It is a quiet, relaxing island with grassy paths and seating. It is set out as a small park containing several wooden chain-saw carved sculptures, although all but one having rotted away.
Caversham Court
Caversham Court is a public garden and was a mansion located on the north bank of the River Thames in Caversham, a suburb of Reading in the English county of Berkshire. The park lies within the St Peter's conservation area. The park is listed as Grade II in the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
King's Meadow swimming pool
King's Meadow swimming pool is a disused open air swimming pool located in King's Meadow in Reading, Berkshire. It was first opened to the public in 1903 as the Ladies Swimming Bath and is believed to be the oldest surviving outdoor municipal pool of a similar early Edwardian era. In August 2004, as a result of a campaign, the building was awarded Grade II listed building status.
Reading Rowing Club
Reading Rowing Club is an amateur rowing club, on the River Thames in England. It is situated on the Berkshire bank of the Thames at Reading, Berkshire just above Caversham Bridge and on the reach above Caversham Lock. The club was founded in 1867 at Reading where there had been an interest in rowing for several years. After its foundation the club revived the Reading Amateur Regatta and has been the driving force behind it ever since.
