Bicester Village
Bicester Village is a designer outlet centre on the outskirts of Bicester, a town in Oxfordshire, England. Bicester North railway station
Bicester North is a station on the Chiltern Main Line, one of two stations serving Bicester, England. Services operated by Chiltern Railways run south to London Marylebone and north to Banbury, Birmingham Snow Hill and Stratford-upon-Avon. Bicester North is the larger of Bicester's two stations. The smaller is Bicester Town, currently the terminus of Oxford to Bicester Line.
Bicester Airfield
Bicester Aerodrome, formerly RAF Bicester, is an airfield on the outskirts of the English town of Bicester in Oxfordshire. The RAF left in 2004. The airfield consists of 400 acres of well-drained short-mown grass, with three nominal runways (not marked) of 06/24, 13/31, 18/36, each 1,000 m long. The airfield surface is bumpy in places, due to collapsing field drains, requiring care on the part of pilots operating aircraft in those areas.
Bicester Town railway station
Bicester Town is the smaller of two railway stations serving the town of Bicester in Oxfordshire. (The larger is Bicester North. ) Bicester Town station is 12 miles miles north-east of Oxford. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by Chiltern Railways.
Bicester Military Railway
The Bicester Military Railway (BMR) is a railway in Oxfordshire, England belonging to the Ministry of Defence. It links military depots at Piddington, Arncott and Graven Hill with the Oxford to Bicester Line. The line has no road bridges. All of its crossings of public roads at Ambrosden, Arncott and between Arncott and Piddington are by level crossings. The Bicester Military Railway was built in 1941 within the Bicester Central Ordnance Depot and was used extensively in the Second World War.
Launton railway station
Launton railway station served the village of Launton in Oxfordshire. It was on the Varsity Line between Bletchley and Oxford. The station opened in 1852; British Railways closed Launton station, and withdrew passenger services at the end of 1967.
Blackthorn railway station
Blackthorn railway station was a railway station serving the village of Blackthorn, Oxfordshire, England. It was on what is now known as the Chiltern Main Line.
