Pendon Museum
Pendon Museum, located in Long Wittenham near Didcot, Oxfordshire, England, displays scale models of typical scenes on the Great Western Railway (GWR) of the 1920s centred on working scale model railways. It should be noted that the railway in the main scene is incidental to the museum's main object which is to create a typical village in a representation of the Vale of White Horse as it might have been in the 1920s and 1930s.

Didcot Railway Centre, located in the town of Didcot in the English county of Oxfordshire, is based around the site of a comprehensive "engine shed" which became redundant after the nationalisation of the UK railways, due to the gradual changeover from steam to diesel motive power. Today, the site is a railway museum, home to many steam and diesel locomotives, passenger coaches and rolling stock. The site is also home to several active locomotives which are used for visitor train-rides.
British Airways Flight 5390
British Airways Flight 5390 was a scheduled passenger flight operated by British Airways between Birmingham Airport in England and Málaga, Spain. On 10 June 1990 an improperly-installed panel of the windscreen failed, blowing the plane's captain, Tim Lancaster, halfway out of the aircraft, with his body firmly pressed against the window frame. The first officer managed to perform an emergency landing in Southampton with no loss of life.

Appleford railway station serves the village of Appleford-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, England. It is about 8 miles south of Oxford on the Cherwell Valley Line. The station and all trains serving it are operated by First Great Western.
The Abbey, Sutton Courtenay
The Abbey at Sutton Courtenay is a courtyard house of c. 1320, and later remodelled, in the English county of Oxfordshire. The hall and solar range are both of c. 1320; but the west front of the hall range is castellated and probably early 19th century. Inside, the Great Hall survives open to the roof, with one cruck truss carrying a king post.

Appleford Railway Bridge carries the Cherwell Valley Line from Didcot to Oxford across the River Thames near the village of Appleford-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England. It crosses the Thames on the reach between Clifton Lock and Culham Lock. The bridge was under construction in December 1843.
Sutton Bridge, Oxfordshire
Sutton Bridge, Oxfordshire is a road bridge across the River Thames near the village of Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire, England. It is a stone structure built in 1807 with three arches over the main river and two smaller ones across the flood plain. An extension was built in 1809 across the Culham Cut, just below Culham Lock. It was originally a toll bridge and replaced an earlier multi-arch bridge over the original weir and a ferry at this site.
