Strinesdale Reservoir
Strinesdale is a reservoir situated on the A62 between Oldham and Delph in Greater Manchester, England. The town of Rochdale is to the north and the town of Oldham to the south. Strinesdale is an area of water and woodland covering approximately 40 acres (162,000 m²). In 1991, the reservoirs were drained and replaced by two smaller lakes with the old reservoir sites being planted with trees and grassland.

Lees (or Lees Urban District) was from 1894 to 1974, a local government district in the administrative county of Lancashire, England. It was created an urban district in 1894 by the Local Government Act 1894 and included the civil parish of Lees and part of the Crossbank hamlet. It was an exclave of the administrative county of Lancaster, being bordered to the west by the county borough of Oldham, and to the east by the West Riding of Yorkshire.

Lees railway station
Lees railway station was opened in 1856 at Lees, Greater Manchester as part of the London and North Western Railway route from Oldham to Greenfield. The station closed in May 1955, when the Delph Donkey passenger train service to Delph via Greenfield was withdrawn. Not far from the station was Lees Engine Shed which remained open until 1964. The entire route between Oldham and Greenfield was closed shortly afterwards.

Orme Mill, Waterhead is a cotton spinning mill in Waterhead, Oldham, Greater Manchester. It was built in 1910. It was taken over by the Lancashire Cotton Corporation in the 1930s and production finished in 1960. The mill was passed on to Ferranti in 1964, and is now in multiple usage.
Majestic Mill, Waterhead
Majestic Mill, Waterhead is a cotton spinning mill in Waterhead, Oldham, Greater Manchester. It was built in 1903. It was taken over by the Lancashire Cotton Corporation in the 1930s and passed to Courtaulds in 1964, converted to ring spinning on 1971. Production finished in 1982. Still standing in other use.
Waterhead Academy
Waterhead Academy is a secondary school with academy status located in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. The academy has specialisms in English and Creative Technologies, and is sponsored by Oldham College. The academy first opened in September 2010, following the formal closure of Breeze Hill School and Counthill School. The academy was initially located at the two campuses of the former schools, however it relocated to a new main campus in November 2012.
