Borough of Wellingborough
The Borough of Wellingborough is a Non-metropolitan district and borough in Northamptonshire, England. It is named after Wellingborough, its main town, but also includes surrounding rural areas. The local council prefers to call itself the 'Borough Council of Wellingborough' rather than the more usual form 'Wellingborough Borough Council'. The borough covers almost the same area as the Wellingborough constituency.
Wellingborough (UK Parliament constituency)
Wellingborough is a county constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. The current MP is Peter Bone of the Conservative Party, first elected at the 2005 general election.
Croyland Abbey, Wellingborough
Croyland Abbey is an historic building, originally a manor house but now offices, in Wellingborough in the British county of Northamptonshire. The building is named after Croyland Abbey in Lincolnshire for which it was a local monastic grange from the 10th century. The present structure is Jacobean with later additions. However, visible traces of the medieval grange still exist, perhaps dating from its rebuilding by Abbot Richard in 1281.
Finedon railway station
Finedon railway station was built by the Midland Railway in 1857 on its extension from Leicester to Bedford and Hitchin. It had one island platform. Being a mile and a half from Finedon village it was little used in later years and closed to passengers in 1940. It remained open for goods until 1964 and had quite large sidings for the local stone, with a tramway to the Excelsior and the Finedon Hill mines.
Isham and Burton Latimer railway station
Isham and Burton Latimer railway station was built by the Midland Railway in 1857 to serve the villages of Isham and Burton Latimer on its extension from Leicester to Bedford and Hitchin. It closed in 1950 though the buildings remain unused. Slightly north of it was a branch line which ran until 1969 to Thrapston and Huntingdon. A6003 road
The A6003 is an A-class road in England, linking Kettering in Northamptonshire with Corby and Oakham, the latter in Rutland. The road briefly enters Leicestershire between the villages of Rockingham and Caldecott. The road forms the principal link between Corby and the rest of Northamptonshire, as well as between Rutland and Northamptonshire. The entire length of the road is 21 miles .
Wrenn School
The Wrenn School is a specialist science secondary school in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England, that was established in 1975. It occupies the campus of the former Wellingborough Grammar School, founded in 1930, at which British television personality David Frost was a pupil. Wrenn School is a split-site school, with the two parts of its campus being a short walk apart. One part of the school is sited on the A5193 in the south of the town, just west of the hospital .

Hatton Park was a cricket ground in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1873, when Wellingborough played a United North of England Eleven. It was a United North of England Eleven that played a United South of England Eleven in the grounds only first-class match. The final recorded match held on the ground came in 1884 when Northamptonshire played Essex.
