Tadcaster Rural District
Tadcaster was a rural district in the West Riding of Yorkshire from 1894 to 1974. It was named after Tadcaster. It was created by the Local Government Act 1894 from the Tadcaster rural sanitary district. It was enlarged in 1937 by the abolition of Bishopthorpe Rural District. It was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972.
Tadcaster Albion A.F.C
Tadcaster Albion A.F.C. are an English football club based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, formed in 1892. Their ground is situated behind the John Smith's brewery in Tadcaster, thus the reason for their nickname "The Brewers". Currently, they are members of the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division. They are managed by Paul Marshall who was appointed in May 2008. Marshall is assisted by coaches Mike Morton & Andy Calvert.

Calcaria was a small town in the Roman province of Britannia. Today, it is known as Tadcaster, located in the English county of North Yorkshire. The Romans founded the settlement and named it Calcaria from the Latin word for lime kilns, reflecting the importance of the area's limestone geology as a natural resource for quarrying. The nature of the settlement is uncertain.
Ainsty Bounds Walk
The Ainsty Bounds Walk is a 44 mile (71 km) long distance footpath mostly in North Yorkshire, England, with a short section in West Yorkshire. It follows the boundaries of the ancient wapentake of The Ainsty, between the rivers Wharfe, Nidd and Ouse, and passes through the towns of Boston Spa, Wetherby, Moor Monkton, the outskirts of York, and Bolton Percy. As a circular walk it can be walked from any point, but it is considered to start and finish at Tadcaster.

Grimston Park is a grade II* listed Georgian country house in Grimston, North Yorkshire, England, some 1.7 miles (3 km) south of Tadcaster. It has been converted into a number of luxury homes. The house is built on two storeys of Tadcaster limestone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. It has a 7-bay frontage with a projecting portico and a three-storey tower and a single story entrance lodge at each end.
