Cramble Cross
Cramble Cross is a public footpath through the English countryside. It is located near North Cowton in Richmondshire District Council in North Yorkshire. It begins near the village green in North Cowton and ends on the back road between Dalton Gates and Moulton village. The footpath crosses a field which was historically known as Scotch Graves, it is one of the possible sites of the Battle of the Standard in 1138.

Royal Air Force Station Croft or RAF Croft is a former Royal Air Force station located 4.6 miles south of Darlington, County Durham, England and 8 miles north east of Richmond, North Yorkshire. The site is also known locally as Croft Aerodrome or Neasham. The airfield was opened in 1941 for use by the Royal Air Force (RAF) but by 1942 the aerodrome had been taken over by the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) for training as part of No. 6 Group RCAF.
South Cowton Castle
South Cowton Castle is a 15th century fortified dwelling house in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated on the land that was once the medieval village of South Cowton. The castle was built by Sir Richard Conyers in 1470 and it is the oldest surviving building in any of the Cowtons. The castle was built at the time of the Wars of the Roses, which gives an indication of why what is a country gentleman's house is so heavily fortified.
South Cowton
South Cowton is a village and Civil Parish based around an abandoned medieval village in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire in England. The village was developed some time after the Norman Conquest, The Domesday Book tells us that South Cowton was owned by Count Alan of Richmond, and was ruled by Godric the Steward. The archaeological remains of the village suggest that there were at least 20 houses during the Medieval era.
