River Greta (Lune)
The River Greta is a river flowing through Lancashire and North Yorkshire in the north of England. The river is formed by the confluence of the River Twiss and the River Doe at Ingleton. From Ingleton, the Greta travels westwards through Burton-in-Lonsdale and, over the border in Lancashire, Cantsfield and Wrayton, passing Thurland Castle, where the Greta flows into the River Lune. The river runs through the Greta valley in Yorkshire.
River Twiss
The River Twiss is a river in the county of Yorkshire, England. The source of the river is Kingsdale Beck which rises at Kingsdale Head at the confluence of Back Gill and Long Gill in the Yorkshire Dales. Beneath Keld Head, it changes its name to the River Twiss.
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a well-known circular trail beginning and ending in the village of Ingleton in the English county of North Yorkshire, now maintained by the Ingleton Scenery Company. It is claimed that the trail, some 8 kilometres long, and with a vertical rise of 169 m (554 feet) has some of the most spectacular waterfall and woodland scenery in the north of England.
Scar End
Scar End is a settlement on the side of Twistleton Scar in the English county of North Yorkshire. This Scar itself is the end of a spur running westwards from Whernside, one of the Three Peaks, towards Ingleton, North Yorkshire. Looking out towards the west from Twistleton Scar is Ingleton and to the South, is Ingleborough. The settlement consists of five properties, Twistleon Farm, Near Barn, Far Barn, Scar End Barn, Scar End Cottage 1 and Scar End Cottage 2.
Simpson Pot
Named after Eli Simpson, Simpson Pot is one of several entrances into the West Kingsdale System in North Yorkshire, England. It is popular with cavers, as it is possible to descend it by abseiling down the pitches, retrieving the rope each time, and exiting from the Valley Entrance of the Kingsdale Master Cave, located at the base of the hill.

St Oswald's Church, Thornton in Lonsdale, is in the village of Thornton in Lonsdale, North Yorkshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Ewecross, the archdeaconry of Craven and the diocese of Bradford. Its benefice is united with that of All Saints, Burton in Lonsdale. The church has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building.
Kingsdale
Kingsdale is a valley on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in northern England. The larger part of the valley lies within the county of North Yorkshire but its highest reaches fall just within Cumbria. It is defined by the hills of Whernside to its east and Gragareth to its west. Kingsdale is drained by the southwestward flowing Kingsdale Beck which assumes the name River Twiss before joining the River Doe at Ingleton to become the River Greta.
