A140 road
The A140 is an 'A-class' road in Norfolk and Suffolk, East Anglia, England partly following the route of the Roman Pye Road. It runs from the A14 near Needham Market to the A149 south of Cromer. It is of primary status for the entirety of its route. It is approximately 56 miles (90 km) in length. There are 33 road junctions, and many driveway accesses to private dwellinghouses, and the route is crossed by 37 footpaths and bridleways and 3 designated cycle routes.
Swainsthorpe railway station
Swainsthorpe was a railway station in Swainsthorpe, England, around five miles south of Norwich. It was opened in 1850 when the Great Eastern Railway constructed the line between London and Norwich. It was the first station south of the terminus at Norwich Victoria. It was well served, in 1889 there were eight trains each way on weekdays. Journey time into Norwich was approximately nine minutes. When Norwich Victoria closed in 1914 the writing appeared to be on the wall.

Flordon railway station was a station in Flordon, Norfolk. It opened in 1849 when the line from London to Norwich was constructed. It was closed in 1966 as part of the Beeching Axe.
Hethersett railway station
Hethersett was a railway station near Hethersett, Norfolk. Opened in 1845, it was located some distance from the village it took its name from. It was located on the Great Eastern Railway Main Line between Norwich and Thetford. It was served by between ten and twelve trains a day each way during the early sixties. In 1966, however, the station was deemed surplus to requirements and closed.
Norwich CEYMS F.C
Norwich CEYMS F.C. (CEYMS being an acroynm for Church of England Young Men's Society) is an English football club based in Swardeston, near Norwich, in Norfolk. They currently play in Division One of the Anglian Combination, having previously played in the Eastern Counties League. It has been suggested that the world's oldest football song, On The Ball, City, was used for CEYMS before being adopted by Norwich City. The club is affiliated to the Norfolk County FA.
Hethel Old Thorn
Hethel Old Thorn is a 700-year-old tree which is the oldest hawthorn tree recorded in East Anglia. The tree is protected as a Norfolk Wildlife Trust nature reserve, which at 0.025 hectares is among the smallest Wildlife Trust reserves in the United Kingdom.
