RAF Foulsham
The former Royal Air Force Station Foulsham, more commonly known as RAF Foulsham was a Royal Air Force station, a military airfield, 15 miles North-West of Norwich, in the English county of Norfolk, East Anglia, from 1942 to 1945.
Melton Constable railway station
Melton Constable was a railway station on the Midland and Great Northern Railway which served the North Norfolk village of Melton Constable from 1882 to 1964. Notwithstanding its rural location, the station became an important railway centre with lines converging from all directions providing connections to key East Anglian towns such as King's Lynn, Norwich, Cromer, Fakenham, Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
Guestwick railway station
Guestwick railway station is a former station in Norfolk, England. It was constructed by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway in the 1880s on the line between Melton Constable and Norwich City. It was closed in 1959. It served the village of Guestwick. It is on the path of Marriott's Way which follows the route of the old line. Like many of the stations on the line, Guestwick was simply too small to support a station and regular trains to Norwich and King's Lynn.
Hindolvestone railway station
Hindolvestone railway station was in North Norfolk, England. It was part of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway branch from Melton Constable to Norwich. It closed in 1959. It served the small village of Hindolveston. The station was spelled with an 'e' on the end although OS maps show it without. According to the Official Handbook of Stations the following classes of traffic were being handled at this station in 1956: G* & P and there was no crane.
B1354 road
The B1354 runs for about 8.2 miles between the A148 at Thursford and the B1149 at Saxthorpe, and is entirely within the county of Norfolk. The road is the main route of access to Norwich and to Fakenham for the large villages of Melton Constable and Briston.
