Mid-Yare NNR

Mid-Yare NNR is a National Nature Reserve in Norfolk, east of Norwich, established by English Nature and managed by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). In RSPB publications, this reserve is known as Strumpshaw Fen. The reserve consists of floodplains along the River Yare, and the total area is 7.8 km². It centres around the Strumpshaw area.

Strumpshaw Fen is a nature reserve managed by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). It is situated at Strumpshaw Fen, a fen on the River Yare in Norfolk, England. It is a site of Special Scientific Interest. It is part of the Mid-Yare National Nature Reserve established in 1997 by English Nature (though managed by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds). It was purchased by the RSPB in 1974.

Langley Hall

Langley Hall is a red-brick building in the Palladian style, located in Loddon, Norfolk, England. It was built in 1737 for Richard Berney, on land that until the Dissolution of the Monasteries belonged to Langley Abbey, and sold two years later to George Proctor to enable Berney to repay his debts. In 1744, the estate was inherited by Sir William Beauchamp who, in compliance with his uncle's will, changed his name to Beauchamp-Proctor. The family later changed their name Proctor-Beauchamp.
