A19 road
The A19 is a major road in England running approximately parallel to and east of the A1 road, although the two roads meet at the northern end of the A19, the two roads originally met at the southern end of the A19 in Doncaster but the old route of the A1 was changed to the A638. From Sunderland northwards, the route was formerly the A108. In the past the route was known as the East of Snaith-York-Thirsk-Stockton-on-Tees-Sunderland Trunk Road.
Callerton Parkway Metro station
Callerton Parkway station, in Newcastle upon Tyne, is a station on the Tyne and Wear Metro Green line, which opened on 17 November 1991, when the line was extended to Newcastle Airport. It is not located near any significant housing estates, and as a result is one of the Metro stations with the lowest patronage. Because of good road links, the station is used as a transfer point to buses travelling to locations in Northumberland.

Kingston Park is a multi-purpose stadium in Kingston Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It is used mostly for rugby union matches and is the home stadium of Newcastle Falcons. The stadium is also used for the Newcastle United Reserves to play their home matches. From 2007 to 2009 it was home to semi-professional football team Newcastle Blue Star.
Blagdon Hall
Blagdon Hall is a privately owned country house near Seaton Burn, Northumberland which has Grade I listed building status. The house and estate have been in the ownership of the White Ridley family since 1698. The present Viscount Ridley is the science writer and banker Matt Ridley. The hall was built in two phases between about 1720 and 1752 by Matthew White and his son Sir Matthew White, whose sister Elizabeth married Matthew Ridley (1719–1778), four times Mayor of Newcastle upon Tyne.
RAF Woolsington
RAF Woolsington opened as a civil airport in July 1935 and was requisitioned by the Royal Air Force on the outbreak of World War II. It served at various times as a satellite of both RAF Acklington and RAF Ouston but saw little operational flying. On one notable occasion in 1940, however, a Spitfire of No. 72 Squadron RAF flying out of Woolsington actually shot down a Ju88 at night - a remarkable achievement for an aircraft considered unsuitable for night fighting.
