Great Woolstone and Little Woolstone are two historic villages in modern Milton Keynes, ceremonial Buckinghamshire now called jointly Woolstone or The Woolstones and forming the heart of a new district of that name. The name 'Woolstone' is an Old English language word, and means 'Wulfsige's farm'. In the Domesday Book of 1086 the area was recorded as Wlsiestone.

Simpson is a village and civil parish in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. It was one of the former villages of Buckinghamshire that was included in the New City in 1967. It is located south of the centre, just north of Fenny Stratford, near Walton. It is the only parish of this name in the United Kingdom, (although there is a hamlet called Simpson in the parish of Nolton and Roche in Wales). The village name is an Old English language word, and means 'Sigewine's farm'.

The University campus covers 48 hectares and the first buildings were designed by Maxwell Fry & Jane Drew in 1969. It is in the ancient (and modern) parish of Walton. The manor house (Walton Hall) that gives the district its name and the ancient parish church of St Michael, now deconsecrated, are in the University's grounds.

Milton Keynes Hoard
The Milton Keynes Hoard is a hoard of Bronze Age gold found in September 2000 in a field near Monkston, Milton Keynes, England. The hoard consisted of two torcs, three bracelets, and a fragment of bronze rod contained in a pottery vessel. The inclusion of pottery in the find enabled it to be dated to around 1150–800 BC. Weighing in at 2.020 kg, the hoard was described by the British Museum as "one of the biggest concentrations of Bronze Age gold known from Britain".
Oakgrove, Milton Keynes
Oakgrove is a district of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, England. As of 2010, it is undeveloped but plans for its development are pending approval. The 30 hectares site is envisaged to accommodate 1,300 new homes and anticipated to be complete by 2017, with a large portion of the district remaining reserved as linear park to accommodate the flood plain of the river Ouzel.
