Grand Union Canal
The Grand Union Canal in England is part of the British canal system. Its main line starts in London and ends in Birmingham, stretching for 137 miles (220 km) with 166 locks. It has arms to places including Leicester, Slough, Aylesbury, Wendover and Northampton. The Grand Union Canal was also the original name for part of what is now part of the Leicester Line of the modern Grand Union: this latter is now generally referred to as the Old Grand Union Canal in order to avoid ambiguity.
Caldecote, Buckinghamshire
Caldecote is a tiny hamlet in Newport Pagnell parish in the Borough of Milton Keynes and ceremonial county of Buckinghamshire, England. The place name is fairly common in England, and is Old English meaning "cold cottage". This refers to a resting place for travellers or other strangers on the road. The original Northampton to London road runs nearby. The route was diverted in 1728 along a new road on the higher ground east of the village, causing the latter to decline.

Electromagnetic Field (also known as EMF, or EMF Camp) is a three-day festival in the UK for hackers, geeks, engineers and scientists. It features talks and workshops covering a wide variey of topics. It was first held in 2012 in Pineham Park, near Milton Keynes and was completely sold out. Each tent at EMF Camp is provided with power and the internet, via a 2.5 km direct microwave link to a data centre which provided 370 Mbit/s to the campsite.
