Linford Manor, also known as Great Linford Manor, is a seventeenth century mansion or manor house converted into a recording studio complex in Great Linford, near Milton Keynes, England. It is now owned by Pete Winkelman who is chairman of Milton Keynes Dons football club.

Pennyland project
The Pennyland project was one of a series of low-energy building experiments sparked by the 1973 oil crisis. It involved the construction of an estate of 177 houses in the Pennyland area of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. It compared possible future UK building efficiency standards with newly introduced Danish ones. Although identical externally, half the Pennyland houses (Area 1) were built to the proposed 1982 UK Building Regulations energy efficiency standards.
The Point, Milton Keynes
The Point is an entertainment complex in Central Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. When it opened in 1985, it included the UK's first multiplex cinema. In May 2012, the building's owners Hammerson announced proposals to demolish the building and replace it with a retail-based development. It was originally best known for the ziggurat-form structure of the front section, with red neon lights connecting the apexes at each side, so that it looked like a pyramid at night.
North Milton Keynes
North Milton Keynes is an Office of National Statistics designated urban sub-area for the 2001 national census. The Central Milton Keynes urban sub-area and the North Milton Keynes urban sub-area together approximate to that part of the former Newport Pagnell Rural District that is west of the River Ouzel. The sub-area consists of the modern part of Bradwell, Rooksley, half of Bradwell Common, Linford Wood, half of Downs Barn, Downhead Park, Willen and Tongwell.
Newport Pagnell Canal
The Newport Pagnell Canal was a 1.25 mile canal that ran from the Grand Junction Canal at Great Linford to Newport Pagnell through seven locks. Construction was authorised by an Act of Parliament in June 1814 and it probably opened in 1817. It closed in 1864, with part of the route used for the line of a railway.
Great Linford railway station
Great Linford railway station was a railway station on the Wolverton to Newport Pagnell line. It served the village of Great Linford, Buckinghamshire, which it was located a little to the northeast of. Built next to the Linford Wharf on the Grand Union Canal, the station opened to traffic in 1867. The station consisted of a brick built station building, and single platform. The last passenger train ran on 7 September 1964 and the last goods train on 22 May 1967.
