Hoo Peninsula
The Hoo Peninsula is a peninsula in England separating the estuaries of the rivers Thames and Medway. It is dominated by a line of sand and clay hills, surrounded by an extensive area of marshland composed of alluvial silt. The name Hoo is the Old English word for spur of land.
Slough Fort
Slough Fort is a small seven-gun Royal Commission fort built on the Thames, Kent to the west of the entrance to the Medway near Allhallows-on-Sea. It is intact and being used as riding school stable. It was built in 1867 as an arc of seven granite faced casemates. The seven 7in rifled breech loaders were designed to impede shipping on the Thames.

Middle Stoke Halt was a halt on the Hundred of Hoo Railway Uralite Halt and Stoke Junction halt. It was opened in July 1906 and closed to passengers on 4 December 1961.
Stoke Junction Halt railway station
Stoke Junction Halt was a halt on the Hundred of Hoo Railway between Middle Stoke Halt and Grain Crossing Halt, it was also at the junction of the line to Allhallows-on-Sea. It was opened on 17 July 1932 and closed on 4 December 1961.
Allhallows-on-Sea railway station
Allhallows-on-Sea station was the railway station for Allhallows-on-Sea from 1932 to 1961. It was opened partly on the 14 and fully on 16 May 1932. It had an island platform with a run-round loop. Originally the branch from Stoke Junction was single track, but it was doubled in 1935, and singled again in 1957. The station closed on 4 December 1961 and was demolished in 1975, although the listed water tank remains.
