Canal Street (Manchester)
Canal Street, the centre of the Manchester Gay Village, is a street in Manchester city centre in North West England. The pedestrianised street, which runs along the west side of the Rochdale Canal, is lined with gay bars and restaurants. At night time, and in daytime in the warmer months, the street is filled with visitors, often including gay and lesbian tourists from all over the world.

Afflecks
Afflecks (formerly Affleck's Palace) is a building housing an indoor market located at the junction of Church Street/Tib Street and Dale Street with Oldham Street in the Northern Quarter of Manchester in England. Dozens of independent stalls, small shops and boutiques operate in the one building. The building was once occupied by a department store called Affleck and Brown, hence the name.
Piccadilly Gardens
Piccadilly Gardens is a green space in Manchester city centre, England, situated at one end of Market Street (a busy shopping area) and on the edge of the Northern Quarter. Piccadilly runs eastwards from the end of Market Street/junction with Mosley Street, to a point where London Road begins at the junction with Ducie Street: to the south of this are the gardens and paved areas.

Market Street, Manchester
Market Street is one of the principal retail streets in Manchester, England. It runs from its junction with Piccadilly and Mosley Street, close to Piccadilly Gardens, in the east to where it meets St. Mary's Gate at the crossroads with Exchange Street and New Cathedral Street in the west. St Mary's Gate then continues to where it meets Deansgate. Other major streets crossed are High Street, Corporation Street (on the north side), Cross Street and Fountain Street (on the south side).

111 Piccadilly
111 Piccadilly, formerly Rodwell Tower or Rodwell House, is a high rise office development in Manchester, England, owned by Bruntwood which was opened in 1965. The tower is 64 metres which makes it the joint-twelfth tallest building in Manchester. The building is located at the corner of Ducie Street (near Station Approach which leads to Manchester's main railway station, Manchester Piccadilly). It is the last building in Piccadilly which continues here as London Road.
2008 UEFA Cup Final riots
The 2008 UEFA Cup Final riots was a serious public disorder incident that took place in Manchester, England on the day of the 2008 UEFA Cup Final. The match between Rangers F.C. and FC Zenit Saint Petersburg was preceded by scuffles between fans. Serious disorder was allegedly sparked by the failure of a big screen erected in Piccadilly Gardens to transmit the match to thousands of Rangers fans who had travelled to the city without tickets.
Dale Street Warehouse
Dale Street Warehouse is an early nineteenth century warehouse in the Piccadilly Basin area of Manchester. It is a Grade II* listed building as of 10 November 1972. "It is of considerable interest as the earliest surviving canal warehouse in the city". The building is dated 1806 with initials "WC" on the datestone indicating that it was designed by William Crosley, an engineer who worked with William Jessop on the inner-Manchester canal system.
City Police Courts, Manchester
The City Police Courts, now commonly called Minshull Street Crown Court, is a complex of court buildings on Minshull Street in Manchester, designed in 1867–73 by the architect Thomas Worthington. The court was made a Grade II* listed building on 3 October 1974. The style is Worthington's trademark flamboyant Flemish Gothic with a massive corner tower and a chinney stack styled as a campanille. The courts are constructed in red brick with sandstone dressings and steeply-pitched slate roofs.
Oldham Street
Oldham Street is in Manchester city centre and forms part of the city's historic Northern Quarter district. The Northern Quarter dominated by buildings that were built before World War II. The street runs from Piccadilly to Great Ancoats Street on the edge of Ancoats, beyond which it continues northwards as Oldham Road, the A62. The street is part of Manchester which is on a tentative list as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Methodist Central Hall stands on the east side.
NOMA, Manchester
NOMA (meaning NOrth MAchester, also uses the brandmark 53ºN) is a large mixed-use development in Manchester. Phase One is due to open in 2012, and will be home to The Co-operative Group. It is the largest development project in the North West England ahead of developments such as MediaCityUK and Atlantic Gateway and overall is the largest development outside South East England.
One Angel Square
One Angel Square is a high-sustainable office building in Manchester, England. Construction work began in 2010 and was completed in February 2013. The landmark building serves as the head office of the Co-operative Group. Standing 72.5 metres tall, the building forms the centrepiece of the new £800 million NOMA development in the northern quarter of Manchester city centre. The building cost at least £105 million to construct and was sold on leaseback terms in 2013 for £142 million.
3MT Venue
3MT Venue, also known just as 3MT, is the Three Minute Theatre in Afflecks Arcade, Oldham Street, Manchester, England. It is a small, 70-seat independent theatre, cinema and music venue established in 2010. It has a licensed bar. It is the host of the Afflecks Fringe Festival and the starting point of many new plays and bands.

107 Piccadilly
107 Piccadilly is a Grade-II building on Lena Street in Manchester, England. Situated near Piccadilly Gardens, it was originally built as a packing warehouse and showroom with offices for cotton manufacturer Sparrow Hardwick & Company. It was designed by influential Mancunian architect Charles Heathcote in a lively Jacobean-Baroque style. The building was completed in 1899. The exterior consists of red sandstone and red brick.
One Piccadilly Gardens
One Piccadilly Gardens is a large office building on the east side of Piccadilly Gardens, a public square in Manchester. It houses six floors of office space with shops and restaurants on the ground floor. The entrance to the offices is via a double height diagonal void through the ground and first floors of the building.
Rylands Building
Rylands Building is a Grade II listed building in Market Street, Manchester, England. Situated close to the Piccadilly area of Manchester city centre, the building was originally built as a warehouse by the Rylands textile company which was founded by John Rylands. The building was designed by the eminent Manchester architects, Fairhursts, in an Art Deco style. It is clad in Portland stone and features a decorative corner tower and eclectic 'zig zag' window lintels.
50 Newton Street
50 Newton Street is a Grade II listed former warehouse in Manchester, England. Located on Newton Street in the Northern Quarter area, it was built in 1900 by a design from Clegg & Knowles. It was designed with a degree of flair and panache and is described by English Heritage as an example of "Free Baroque" architecture. It was originally built as a warehouse, believed to be for a hat manufacturer.
Bank Chambers
Bank Chambers is an office building on Portland Street, Manchester, England. Its heavy and imposing appearance gives away its previous use as a bullion bank vault by the Bank of England. The Bank of England vacated the building in the 1990s and the building is now used as offices.
