West Kesteven Rural District
West Kesteven was a rural district in Lincolnshire, Parts of Kesteven, England from 1931 to 1974. It was formed under a County Review Order, by the merger of most of the Grantham Rural District, part of the Sleaford Rural District and much of the Claypole Rural District. It was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, being merged into the new South Kesteven.

The Grantham rail accident occurred on 19 September 1906. An evening sleeping-car and mail train from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh Waverley hauled by Ivatt 'Atlantic' No 276 derailed, killing 14.
Grantham Ambergate Yard railway station
Grantham Ambergate Yard railway station was first opened by the Ambergate, Nottingham, Boston and Eastern Junction Railway in 1850 between Grantham and Nottingham as its first terminus. In some literature it is referred to as "Old Wharf. " However that may have been its location adjacent to the Grantham Canal. When the Great Northern Railway arrived in 1852, the ANB&EJR acquired running rights into its station. The station closed on 1 August 1852.

St Wulfram's Church, Grantham is a parish church in the Church of England in Grantham in Lincolnshire. The church has been a Grade I listed building, since 8 May 1950. In his book England's Thousand Best Churches, Simon Jenkins begins his description of St Wulfram's: "Here is the finest steeple in England".
Grantham Museum
Grantham Museum is located at St Peter's Hill, Grantham, Lincolnshire, England in the building provided for it in 1926. The building also housed the public library, and was partly funded by the Carnegie UK Trust which was continuing Andrew Carnegie's project of building libraries across the United Kingdom.
