A153 road

The A153 is a non-primary A road that is located entirely in Lincolnshire in the east of England. The A153 starts at the T-junction with the A607 at Honington and heads east to Sleaford, then heads north on the A15 and then west on the A17 around the Sleaford bypass. Before the bypasses were built, the road went through Sleaford; this route is now the B1517. The A153 then heads north through the town of Horncastle and terminates at the A16 Louth bypass

Honington railway station

Honington railway station was a station in the village of Honington, Lincolnshire. It was located on the line from Grantham to Sleaford and Skegness, near the junction with the branch to Lincoln. It was closed for regular services on 10 September 1962 but was used occasionally until 1965. The disused platforms are still in situ. Caythorpe railway station

Caythorpe railway station was a station in Caythorpe, Lincolnshire. Built to serve the nearby village of the same name. It was on the Grantham to Lincoln line, between Honington junction and Leadenham, onwards to Navenby, Nocton, Harmston, Waddington to Lincoln. The line was owned by the Great Northern Railway. It was closed as part of the Beeching rationalisation of the UK railway system. The site now houses a recycling centre for household waste.

Caythorpe Court

Caythorpe Court is a Grade II* listed former hunting lodge situated about one mile to the east of Caythorpe, Lincolnshire. It was originally built in 1901 for Edgar Lubbock, a brewer and banker, to the designs of Sir Reginald Blomfield. In 1946, it became the Kesteven Agricultural College, which was renamed the Lincolnshire College of Agriculture and Horticulture from September 1980. The college became the De Montford School of agriculture, but the site was closed in 2002.
