Thorpe Langton
Thorpe Langton (derived from the Anglo-Saxon word for an enclosure, meaning "long town") is a village and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, about four miles north of Market Harborough. The parish had a population of 171 according to the 2001 census. Thorpe Langton is the home of the Baker's Arms pub and St. Leonard's church, but is otherwise solely residential.

Goadby has a Church of England Parish church, St John the Baptist, which is of 13th-Century origin. The church was extensively renovated in the 19th Century. Services are held on the first Sunday of every month. The church is part of a group of churches ministered to from Billesdon.
Hallaton Castle
Hallaton Castle was situated to the west of the village of Hallaton, which lies some 20 km to the south-east of the city of Leicester. This was an interesting motte and bailey castle with an additional rectangular enclosure now surviving as an earthwork, 118 feet high, and 630 feet in circumference, on which stood the keep, occupying, with the outworks, about 2 acres of ground. The earthworks only are present today.
Welham Junction
Welham Junction was a railway junction named after the village of Welham, Leicestershire, although the junction itself lay within the parish of Weston by Welland, Northamptonshire. It was the junction where the line from Market Harborough split, with one route heading eastwards towards Stamford and one north towards Nottingham. Just to the east was Ashley and Weston railway station, and to the north was Hallaton railway station.
Knave Hill
Knave Hill is an archaeological site near the village of Stonton Wyville, Leicestershire, in the English East Midlands. It was excavated by Channel 4's Time Team, who found evidence of settlement dating back some 1400 years, including Iron Age, Roman and Anglo-Saxon periods. It appears that the site was abandoned as the population concentrated into villages, leaving the land free for cultivation.
