Tripontium
Tripontium was a town in Roman Britain. It lay on the Roman road later called Watling Street (and known today as the A5) at a site now chiefly within the civil parish of Newton and Biggin in the English county of Warwickshire and partly in Leicestershire, some 3.4 miles north-east of Rugby and 3.1 miles south of Lutterworth.

Bitteswell is a small village and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire in England. It is close to Lutterworth, and situated just to the north of that town, and in the 2001 census had a population of 454. It was recorded in the Domesday Book as Betmeswelle. The village also had its own RAF station called RAF Bitteswell. Hawker Siddeley had a factory next to the airfield, where Vulcan bombers (and many other aircraft) were built and maintained. Lutterworth railway station
Lutterworth was a station on the Great Central Railway, the last main line to be constructed from the north of England to London, which opened in 1899 to serve the small Leicestershire town of Lutterworth. The station was equipped with an island platform designed by Alexander Ross which allowed the tracks to pass either side of a central platform, and was intended to facilitate future expansion of the railway.
Coton House
Coton House is a late 18th century country house at Churchover, near Rugby, Warwickshire which is now in use as a corporate commercial training centre. It is a Grade II* listed building. The Manor of Coton was held before the Dissolution of the Monasteries by the monks of Coombe Abbey. In 1551 the estate was sold to the Dixwell family and a moated manor house was built on the monastic remains.
