Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust
The Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust is a wildlife trust covering the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland, England. Founded in 1956, (originally under the name "Leicestershire and Rutland Trust for Nature Conservation") the trust now has 9,000 members helping care for over 30 nature reserves covering more than 2,600 acres across the region. The best known of these nature reserves is the Rutland Water Nature Reserve, managed on behalf of Anglian Water.
Copt Oak
Copt Oak is a place in Leicestershire in England. It is in the North West Leicestershire district, near Bawdon Lodge, Charley and Ulverscroft. In its name, "cop" is an old English word for "head", i.e. "[be be]headed oak" = "pollarded oak".
Ulverscroft
Ulverscroft is a civil parish in the Charnwood district of Leicestershire. It has a population of about 100. There is no village by the name, but there was previously an Ulverscroft Priory. There are some good examples of early Arts and Crafts movement architecture in and around Ulverscroft.
Charley, Leicestershire
Charley is a civil parish located in the North West Leicestershire district of Leicestershire, England. According to the 2001 census, it had a population of 203. It is set within the Charnwood Forest. A quarry within the parish was the source of Charley Forest whetstones. Charley is near to Shepshed, Bawdon Lodge, Copt Oak and Whitwick.
Stanton under Bardon
Stanton-under-Bardon is a village and civil parish in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire, England. It has a population of approximately 1,000. The houses are generally constructed out of red brick, with many on Main Street being terraced and having long, thin gardens. The village is situated near junction 22 of the M1 motorway, close to Markfield, Stanton shares a local newspaper with Markfield, called the Markfield and Stanton Under Bardon Herald.

Oaks in Charnwood is a hamlet of scattered houses in the English county of Leicestershire within the Charnwood Forest. It is the site of a campsite for Scouts.
Ulverscroft Priory
Ulverscroft Priory was founded by Robert de Bossu, Earl of Leicester in 1134 as a priory for eremites of the Order of St Augustine. It was closely connected with the Lords Ferrars of Groby. The last Prior was Geoffrey Whalley. On the suppression of the Priory in 1539, Whalley was granted a pension of £20. The Priory estate at this time comprised 957 acres with a further 700 acres in Charnwood Forest, 300 cattle, 1,000 sheep and 60 swine.
