Ellistown and Battleflat
Ellistown and Battleflat is a civil parish in North West Leicestershire, England, just south of the unparished area of Coalville. Most of the parish's population lives in the village of Ellistown in the western part of the parish. Battleflat is a scattered settlement of farms and an industrial estate. Battleflat straddles the boundary between the parish and its neighbour of Stanton under Bardon. Battleflat was formerly divided between the parishes of Thornton and Ibstock.

The village is situated near junction 22 of the M1 motorway, close to Markfield, Stanton shares a local newspaper with Markfield, called the Markfield and Stanton Under Bardon Herald.

It is widely regarded as being the oldest non-conformist place of worship in Leicestershire and indeed across a wide area of the East Midlands.
